According to SPORTbible, a leaked footage showed Arsenal and Premier League staff rehearsing a trophy presentation at the Emirates Stadium.

Also, a letter from Islington Council detailing Arsenal’s scrapped Premier League trophy parade plans has surfaced.

The letter, which includes a timetable and potential route, sheds light on what might have been.

As the final day approached, reigning champions Manchester City were atop the Premier League, two points clear of second-placed Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta’s team needed a near-miracle at the Etihad, where Man City faced West Ham. At one point, the Gunners had hope after Mohammed Kudus scored, narrowing the gap.

However, Man City secured a 3-1 victory with goals from Phil Foden (2) and Rodri, making them the first men’s team in English football history to win four consecutive top-flight titles.

Then, on Tuesday, Islington Council sent a detailed letter to local business owners about a “potential” open-top bus parade scheduled for Monday, May 20, 2024, at 5 pm.

“The aim of this letter is to outline what may potentially happen if the parade goes ahead, allowing local businesses to plan accordingly,” the letter stated.

“This could be an excellent opportunity to capitalize on increased foot traffic, or alternatively, businesses might choose to close early to participate in the parade or avoid the crowd.”

The letter specified that, should Arsenal win the Premier League, the celebratory bus parade would start and finish at Emirates Stadium, passing via the Town Hall on Upper Street, Islington. It also included a timetable and route, reminiscent of the 2003/04 squad’s parade.
