Governor Nwifuru enjoined Women to take up their statutory roles as custodians of homes to ensure a healthier and more peaceable home and society, charging them to use the period of the August Women’s Assembly to evolve workable approaches to rejuvenate spousal love in their families.

Nwogha Ogonna, one of the beneficiaries of the empowerment, thanked the State Government, saying the Administration had touched lives in many ways and promised to make use of the opportunity judiciously.

She urged women in the State to build their homes in such a way that the good virtues from different homes would be manifested in society; “If you make a good home, our society will be a peaceful one”, she added.
