French Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly preparing a €100 million bid for Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, according to Fichajes.
The French club are still searching for a suitable replacement for Kylian Mbappe who joined Real Madri last summer and has identified the 24-year-old Brazilian forward as a prime target.
The 24-year-old forward has a release clause of €1 billion, but PSG are confident their initial bid will open negotiations with the Spanish giants.
Rodrygo has been a key player for Real Madrid this season, making 27 appearances across all competitions, scoring 10 goals, and providing 7 assists. Since joining Los Blancos from Santos in 2019, the Osasco-born attacker has established himself as a crucial figure in Madrid’s frontline.
His performances over the last 18 months have significantly raised his market value, attracting interest from several top European clubs. PSG, keen to bolster their attacking options, are among his top suitors ahead of the summer transfer window.
On the international stage, Rodrygo has also been a regular feature for Brazil, earning 31 caps for the Seleção. With speculation mounting over his future, all eyes will be on whether Real Madrid will entertain offers for one of their rising stars.
PSG is eager to acquire Rodrygo to boost their attack after Mbappe’s exit.
