10 most expensive signings of 2025 January transfer window with combined €524m valuation

The 2025 January transfer window has officially closed, unveiling the ten biggest signings of the period.

While Spain saw limited high-profile moves, England dominated the market with significant spending, alongside notable transactions across Europe and the Middle East.

With record-breaking spending across leagues, Manchester City and Saudi clubs emerged as the biggest spenders in the 2025 January transfer window, while PSG and AC Milan made strategic mid-season reinforcements.

Manchester City led the way, taking their January spending past £185 million (€221 million) with the signings of Nico González, Omar Marmoush, Abdukodir Khusanov, Vitor Reis, and Juma Bah as Pep Guardiola sought to reverse his side’s poor form.
