Hope Uzodinma wins 27 LGAs in Imo [Results]

Hope Uzodimma, incumbent governor of Imo State and standard bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Imo State governorship election has won all the 27 local government results announced in the November 11, 2023 governorship poll in Imo State

Collation began at the Owerri Collation Centre early on Sunday November 12, 2023.

No other candidates won any other local government.

The collation is being overseen by Abayomi Fashina, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, as the state Returning Officer of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the election.

There are 18 parties jostling for the governorship seat in the poll. Yet there are only four front runners including APC’s Uzodimma who is seeking re-election, Samuel Anyanwu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party’s Achonu Nneji and Jack Ogunewe of the Action Alliance.
