El-Rufai’s son warns of possible upset in 2027 elections, says anybody can lose

Bashir El-Rufai, son of the former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has warned that an upset could happen in the 2027 general elections without any consequences, saying nobody is too big to be voted out of office by the people.

Bashir, who made this known on Wednesday, in a post on his X handle, said that people should forget all the intimidations flying up and down, saying they should be patient.

He said even the IMF and the World Bank will not save the politicians when the time comes.

“Political strategist una. That one na for Lagos”, he said.

“Even the IMF & World Bank no go save una that time. Political strategist una. That one na for Lagos.

“I didn’t call names o, but due to their guilt, they already know who is being spoken about. Wallahi, none of you will force anyone to support this utter failure of governance disguised as a useless, dangerous ethnocentric political strategy.”

In recent weeks, Nasir El-Rufai is currently embroiled in a legal battle with the current administration in Kaduna State headed by Umar Sanni, who he helped to succeed him.
