Tinubu mourns Iwuanyanwu, Ohanaeze leader

Tinubu appeals against August 1 protest

President Bola Tinubu has extended his heartfelt commiserations to the family of Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, who passed away on Thursday.

The former Publisher of Champion Newspaper was reported to have died at the age of 81, in Abuja on Thursday.

Iwuanyanwu who was the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, was also an accomplished businessman and notable politician. President Tinubu condoled with the Imo State Government, the friends and associates of the deceased, and Ndi Igbo over this irreparable loss.

The President affirmed that Iwuanyanwu will always be remembered for his remarkable legacy. President Tinubu also prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed elder statesman and comfort to his family.
