Obasanjo, Kagame to speak at GTEXT Homes Dubai’s global leadership conference

Gtext Homes, a Nigerian real estate investment firm will host Olusegun Obasanjo, a former president of Nigeria and Paul Kagame, president of Rwanda to a ‘Global Leadership Conference’ at the Burj Khalifa, Dubai on July 20.

The hybrid global leadership conference tagged, ‘The Winning Digital Age’ aimed at enlightening and helping people build the right leadership skills by leveraging on the leadership style of both Obasanjo and Kagame.

“This conference is for all leaders, whether you are a current leader, aspiring leader, whether you are young or old; it’s for all leaders wherever you are,” Abisola Awosanya, regional manager, international operations, Gtext Homes said.

According to her, the event will be hosted by Stephen Akintayo Consulting (SA Consulting) in conjunction with Gtext Homes, Dubai and Gtext Hub, with more focus on people who thrive in leadership and people who are desirous of taking their leadership drive to the next level and how to become a better leader.

James Abiona, MD, Gtext Academy, while speaking on the choice of the former Nigerian president as a speaker for the global leadership conference said, Obasanjo as an elder statesman is well respected across the world for the leadership roles he has played not just for engineering, but also in the leadership of African leaders.

“Till today he remains a personality of conflict resolution; he’s a man that can go to the battle and is not that kind of person the rebels can point a gun at,” Abiona said, stating that the conference is all about global leadership and that Obasanjo is in a better position to tell the younger generation what it takes to become a better leader.

Similarly, the real estate firm will host the ‘Global Wealth Festival’ across four major cities with Grant Cardone, a real estate entrepreneur and founder, 10x movement, starting from July 16, in Dallas, U.S.A; Dubai, London and Lagos in October respectively.

The global wealth festival is to help young people understand the basis of wealth creation and how to get financial freedom, build wealth and live their dreams leveraging real estate. “This event for Dallas is a one-day event that is targeted at upwardly mobile individuals who want to leverage on the wisdom and experience of amazing thought leaders like our CEO, Dr. Stephen Akintayo and his mentor, Grant Cardone,” Temitope Ajibena, MD, Stephen Akintayo Consulting, said.

According to her, the wealth festival is a business conference specifically for people that are interested in creating wealth through real estate and several other channels of business coaching. “Real estate is a huge part of building any wealth,” she said.
