The Nigeria Employer’s Consultative Association (NECA) has elected Ifeanyi Okoye as its new president.
Okoye was unanimously elected at the employers’ body 67th annual general meeting held at NECA House, Lagos, on Tuesday. He succeeds Taiwo Adeniyi, who served in the position for almost four years.
Okoye, who holds a PhD degree in Pharmacy, is entrepreneur and industrialist. He is the CEO of Juhel Nigeria Limited, a company he founded in 1989, as the first tablet manufacturing company in Anambra State.
Okoye has been a member of the governing council of NECA and was the immediate past honourable treasurer of the council before his election as the association’s new president
