The struggling Union Berlin side is up for a very difficult task when they travel to Italy to play Serie A champions Napoli in Wednesday’s Group C clash of the Uefa Champions League at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
A win for the visitors will brighten their chances of not crashing out of the tournament and progressing to the next stage in Europe.

Italian champions claimed their second win of Group C by narrowly beating Union 1-0 in the reverse fixture, and their six-point haul is only bettered by Real Madrid, who have been perfect so far.
Union Berlin are in 16th place in the Bundesliga table and have not been at their best this season. The away side slumped to a damaging 3-0 defeat at the hands of Eintracht Frankfurt over the weekend and will need to bounce back in this match.
With the absence of Victor Osimhen, recovering from an ankle injury, Napoli will be banking on Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Giacomo Raspadori to lead the striking force for the Italian champions.
Napoli have a good historical record against Union Berlin and have won the only match played between the two teams.
Union Berlin has lost each of their last four matches on the European stage – their longest such run in European competitions.
