Themed ‘Navigating the Knowledge Economy: Strategies for Success in 2024 and Beyond,’ the summit was held virtually on Zoom on June 29th, 2024 and brought together leaders from public, private, social, and other sectors, providing a global platform for engagement and collaboration.
The summit featured a diverse lineup of speakers, each sharing invaluable insights on how to thrive in the modern knowledge economy.
Adenrele Onikosi, HR expert emphasized the critical role of knowledge workers, stating, “Knowledge workers are the driving force using their expertise to generate new ideas, solve complex problems, and drive innovation.” Onikosi’s session underscored the importance of continuous upskilling to remain competitive in today’s rapidly evolving market.
Chizobam Ofoegbu, media strategist highlighted the power of personal branding in her session on positioning for media opportunities.
She advised, “When you build a personal brand, it becomes an umbrella you can use to sell other things. Turn your social media platforms into a stage for showcasing your brand.” Ofoegbu’s insights encouraged attendees to leverage digital platforms to amplify their personal and professional presence.
Other speakers included Mofolusade Sonaike, who explored the power of mindfulness in achieving personal fulfilment, Agbolade Omowole, who discussed maximizing technological tools to excel in the knowledge economy, and Precious Eniayekan, whose session on personal branding in the digital age was particularly impactful.
Kehinde Ajose, the summit’s convener, concluded the event with a powerful message, urging participants to apply the knowledge gained from the summit in their personal and professional lives.
