Smartphone maker, Samsung has once again shown its understanding of the needs of its consumers with the introduction of the new GALAXY S4, the fourth in the Samsung Galaxy Series. The new Galaxy S4 is an all-in-one smart phone specifically designed to simply make life easier for its users. Uniquely sleek, the new Galaxy S4 could only be described as the life changer.

Speaking at the introduction of the phone in Lagos, Emmanouil Revmatas, director, Samsung Mobile, said Samsung is committed to ensuring its consumers get the best. “We are excited about the launch of the Galaxy S4 with MTN and believe we have created a unique device based on deep insights from consumers and a thirst to satisfy the needs of our customers worldwide.

Samsung is the home of innovation and our promise is to continually inspire consumers with products and strong partnerships,” Revmatas affirmed.

When Samsung introduced its Galaxy smart phone series, it promised continuous innovation on the series to satisfy its customers. With the new Galaxy S4, users need only their face and wave of their hands to operate.

Explaining how the phone functions, Revmatas said “in today’s world, we are all looking for smart ways to make life easier and less stressful. The Samsung Galaxy S4 ensures that tasks are effortless with innovative features that detect your face, voice and motions to enable screen control with no need for finger touch activation.”

Further explaining the four basic ways the phone works, Revmatas informed that ‘Samsung Smart Pause’ enables you to control the screen by where you look.

For instance, when you are watching a video, the video pauses when you look away and it starts again when you look back on the phone. ‘Samsung Smart Scroll’ allows you to scroll the browser or emails up and down without touching the screen. It recognises your face looking at the screen and movement of your wrist and then scroll the pages up or down accordingly.

Another feature of the Galaxy S4 is the ‘Air View’ which allows users to hover with their fingers to preview the content of an email, S Planner, image gallery or video without having to open it. You can even see a magnified view on the internet browser, or a phone number saved in the speed dial on the keypad.
