Guaranty Trust Bank plc is currently enhancing Nigerian undergraduates’ savings culture through its new product called “GTCrea8 e-Savers Account”.

In keeping with its innovative and youthful disposition, GTBank plc recently commenced a loyalty reward scheme for holders of its trendy, card-based interest bearing undergraduate account.

Commenting on the campaign, Segun Agbaje, managing director/ chief executive officer, Guaranty Trust Bank plc said: “The bank designed the product to suit the online and electrically driven lifestyle of Nigerian post secondary students. The gesture is in line with our support for education, financial discipline and the continuous use of innovation to drive enriching customer experience.”

GTBank plc on Wednesday through monthly raffle draw rewarded six undergraduates across six geopolitical zones in Nigeria with gifts such as blackberry phones, IPods, laptops, Samsung galaxy tab, LED TV, and mini fridges.

The bank is also organizing several ongoing events on campuses across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria where students will have the opportunity of winning Nokia phones instantly over a six month period. The star prize of a brand new mini cooper convertible car will be won by one of the e-savers at the grand finale of the raffle draw in September. The essence is to promote both savings culture and an increased adoption of the use of alternative banking channel among Nigerian students.
