Boats Films has launched and introduced a new movie on hiring exercise titled ‘The Exit Interview: Hiring The Intern’ to the Nigerian market.
The 19 minutes short movie is a spinoff from its initial installment – The Exit Interview that portrays workplace victimization and harassment in a society burdened with job insecurity, gender imbalance & paycheck uncertainty.
In this one, several agendas build-up to its final climax that forcefully exonerated staff of a corporate organization might not be as easy to let go of as one might think.
“Taking a minute to put aside the tremendous work the crew put aside to deliver a cinematic experience with the movie, the story in itself is beautiful and unpredictable – yet possible and relatable,” a viewer who chooses to be anonymous said.
“At first, I had my reservations and wasn’t expecting anything but when it was done, it left me yearning for more,” she added.

The story is centered on Susan Maduka (Momachi Godson) who cunningly finds her way to a hiring exercise unscheduled for her.
She assumes the conversation well enough with the hiring manager (Heaven Kalu) but all along, her agenda is planned for the CFO (Adeyemi Adesina) with whom she claims to have a sordid past with back in her University Days.
“Wow!!! I like the suspense and the intensity in the conversations, can’t wait to watch the full movie.” From a comment on YouTube,” another view who simply gave her name as Ronke said.
The story is focused on addressing the rising and unaddressed rate of victimization, harassment, and blackmail in corporate society.
Moving on from events of the past exit interview, the business begins a search to find Amaka’s replacement. No one comes close to offering as much as she did – in every sense. In a brisk moment, Femi sights an unexpected candidate who shows promise of being the right candidate – she seemed to have it all in the right places.
‘The Exit Interview’ is produced by Boats Films and directed by Babjide Aroyewun. It stars new faces such as Adesina Adeyemi, Celestine Omin, Sarahbelle Ajufo and features the return of Heaven Kalu and Chidinma Ifunanyachi. Watch the full movie on YouTube via this link – grabify.link/LTWY25.
