The Mavin Academy, established by Don Jazzy, has proven to be a successful platform for grooming talent. Notable graduates include Rema and Ayra Starr, who recently made headlines as nominees for the ‘Best Afrobeats’ category at this year’s MTV VMAs. Furthermore, Rema broke King Sunny Ade’s 41-year-old record on the US Billboard Albums chart, signifying the effectiveness of the academy’s mentorship.

Don Jazzy’s repertoire includes stars like Dbanj, Wande Coal, D’Prince, in the early 2000s, and the likes of Tiwa Savage, Korede Bello, Dija, Reekado Banks, in the 2010s now the modern era sees acts such as Boy Spyce, Rema, Crayon, Ladipoe, Ayra Starr, Magixx, Bayanni, Johnny Drille, DJ B N, and now Lifesize Teddy. His ability to identify and nurture talent has contributed to his legacy in the Nigerian music industry.

Lifesize Teddy’s self-titled debut EP is now available on all major streaming platforms, marking another milestone in the Mavin Records dynasty.
