Buhari wins Osun, leads in Sokoto

APC presidential candidate Muhammadu Buhari has been declared winner of the Osun State presidential elections.

President Buhari polled 347,634 votes to defeat his closest challenger Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the PDP, who scored 337, 377.

And in Sokoto state, the Independent National Electoral Commission has released the results of 13 local governments for the presidential elections in Sokoto.

The results released so far showed President Muhammadu Buhari leading in 10 local governments, while former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar won in Isa, Tureta and Silame Local Governments.
