The theme is “Innovative Solutions To Transportation Issues In Africa”. During the first night, every participant is encouraged to pitch an idea related to the theme for 60 seconds. Presentations should not be elaborate, and should be a quick summary of your idea, what problem it addresses and what solutions it proffers. Participants will then be grouped by the ideas they have presented. They will have to work to develop a working prototype or demo. Throughout the event, mentors will be available to meet with the teams on a 1-1 basis. On Sunday, the teams will have 5 minutes to present the final product or service they have built to the crowd, and a panel of investors, who will pick 3 winners.

The 3 winners would win FREE Incorporation of their startups, access to co-working spaces, possibility to get funding, professional tech support, one year legal advisory, one year tax advisory, 4 Months internet plan.

Registration is 10 thousand naira for early birds and is strictly via the WWTYTK website: wwtytk.com/startupweekend
