Inlaks partners four new IT providers, engages new director

Inlaks, a distributor of TEMENOS T24 banking application in West Africa, has entered into strategic partnership with an additional four global IT solutions providers in an attempt to meet the needs of its customers.

This strategic decision, according to the firm, is in line with the global evolution of banking and to further demonstrate the Inlak’s vigorous determination in transforming clients’ businesses through innovative banking solutions.

The four companies are Fiorano, Digital Persona, R-Systems and Verisim. The partners, according to Femi Adeoti, managing director/CEO of Inlaks, Africa operations, offer a range of unique information technology support services to financial institutions.

They also specialise in critical information technology (IT) solutions such as biometric identification verification and provide a secure, scalable platform for a “real-time information network” for financial institutions, as well as software simulation solutions for training among others.

He explains that Inlaks partnership with these global IT solution providers will reinvigorate excellence in the quality of support services that the company renders to financial institutions in Nigeria and West Africa.

“With these new additional solutions, fraud detection, loan management system and integration of complementary banking services such as ATM, SMS, internet banking with core banking solution to boost operational efficiency and productivity among banks is seamless, “ he says.

In another development, Inlaks has appointed Precious Osegi as its new director, sales and strategy, Financial Business Unit. A statement by the company describes Osegi as a highly experienced senior business leader with over 18 years’ experience in IT and telecommunication markets across US, Middle East and Africa.

An engaging speaker, Osegi is said to specialise in emerging markets, channel strategy, SMB development, sales force enablement, new business model development, direct and indirect sales, partners and alliances development, cloud and managed services, Go-to Market, virtual and direct team leadership skill among others.

A graduate of Physics from Ambrose Alli University and a MBA in Marketing from ESUT Business School, he is expected to bring his high-value visibility and visionary to Inlaks which has an established track record for capturing substantial opportunities, cultivating partnerships and driving vast profitability for her numerous customers as their technology partner.

Prior to this appointment, Osegi has worked in international environment across diverse cultural teams and he is seen as one of those rare types that are both technically savvy with business acumen and strong leadership expertise.

He has vast knowledge of the ICT Markets having worked with various organizations such as Cisco (Cisco WebEx) Systems Inc (USA); Arivia.kom Nigeria Limited; Accelon Nigeria Limited now Dimension Data Company; Computer Warehouse Group (DCC Satellite Services Limited & Expert Edge Systems Limited).

Some of his spectacular achievements include: 125 per cent as a Sales Manager with Cisco WebEx in Commercial NE region USA for Financial year 2011; 130 per cent of his quota in the Enterprise Sector (Financial Services, winning a USD12m in one deal) becoming a Cisco Sales Champion for FY 09.
