Dataleum, a Nigerian ed-tech startup has emerged winner of the EdTech Startup of Africa at the Global Startup Awards (GSA) Africa finale, by Global Startup Awards.

The GSA Africa finale themed, ‘Innovating a Global Africa,’ serves as a beacon for African innovation in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The awards spotlighted groundbreaking solutions emerging from the continent and brought together industry leaders dedicated to shaping Africa’s future through innovation.

“We’re thrilled to be named the Best EdTech Company in Africa by the Global Startup Awards Africa. This achievement underscores our commitment to shaping the future of talent development through innovation,” Bode Roberts, CEO, Dataleum, stated while receiving the EdTech Startup of Africa award.

According to him, Dataleum is more dedicated to advancing the growth and potential of individuals and businesses in Africa and beyond.

He disclosed that the ed-tech startup’s journey to the pinnacle of this recognition began as they competed at the national level, where they showcased their innovative prowess and commitment to transforming the ed-tech sector.

He stated that the performance at the national level earned Dataleum the opportunity to advance to the regional stage of the competition.

As one of the regional finalists, Dataleum stood out with its quality and diversity of solutions, aimed at addressing some of the most pressing challenges in the education sector.
