Airtel boosts SMEs development with new web services

As part of efforts to empower Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to become more productive and profitable, India’s Airtel Nigeria has introduced Airtel Web Services, a robust enterprise solution that offers a bouquet of services ranging from web hosting to document management.

According to Airtel, the new solution is designed to provide a means for small and medium sized businesses in Nigeria to enjoy quality Information Technology (IT) services without the cost burden of procuring, installing and maintaining IT hardware and software. Also, with the Airtel Web services, setting up basic, yet essential IT services like emails, web hosting, document management and storage, can be achieved with zero initial capital expenditure and minimal monthly expenses.

Commenting on the new service, Segun Ogunsanya, CEO, Airtel Nigeria, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the empowerment and development of SMEs in the country.

The Telco Company recently hosted captains of various industries, professionals and owners of small businesses at a well-attended Business Forum in Abuja. The event provided interactive sessions, ideas and business solutions to emerging businesses in Nigeria.
