NOWHERE (2023)

What started out as a very simple and basic movie, moved quickly into becoming and extremely interesting and exciting movie, I got the recommendation from my friend and I knew I just had to check it out quickly; presently the movie is trending on the top 10 movies to watch on Netflix. So Mia was married to Tamar, they had already lost a child and had to flee from the Totalitarian government in their country to another country, where they could start life all over, they had to pay a huge sum of money to some shipping guys, who promised to take them to safety through the ports, by living in the huge containers for weeks, till they cross the sea, to new shores, well what was supposed to be a simple mission in and out, turned into horror, misery and pain for Mia as she would have to do all she can to stay alive and save her unborn child as they both fight for their lives in the middle of the sea, with no hope of help in sight. Well do check it out to see how hope, courage and determination kept her going, despite no help in sight. The 109m Drama, mystery, & thriller movie was directed by Albert Pinto, they featured actors like Anna Castillo, Tamar Novas, Ernest Riera, Natalia Rodriguez and many more.

Ray was a young man who was married before but had some issues, one day he had an accident in his car, while driving with his family, this lead to the death of his wife and daughter. Well Ray had to start his life all over again, but this time he was very careful. As he travelled with his new wife and daughter to visit their folks, their daughter makes a request to use the restroom, which causes them to stop for a while, what was supposed to be a quick stop and rest, transcends into a spiral of activities leading Sam to a nearby hospital where he concludes that the doctors have kidnapped his wife and daughter. Well make sure you check this movie out and pay full attention from start to finish as the revelation at the very end will leave you shocked and totally confused as I was even after watching for the second time. The 100m mystery, thriller movie was directed by Brad Anderson, they featured acts like Sam Worthington, Lily Rabe, Stephen Tobolowsky, Lucy Capri, Adjoa Andoh, Stephanie Sy and many more.

IJOGBON (2023)

Honestly I guess I was expecting something very serious and intense when I found out that the movie was directed by Kunle Afolayan, but then I didn’t get the intensity in the story I was looking forward to. The movie started by showing us a group of secondary school classmates, who played and went home together every day after school. One day they went into the forest to play as usual when they bumped into bag of treasures, they super happy and excited that the treasures were going to make them very rich and take away all their pains and sorrows, little did they know that the treasures were going to bring doom and sadness in the land. African heartfelt, suspenseful drama was written by Tunde Babalola and Kunle Afolayan, they featured actors like Fawa Aina, Bimbo Manuel, Yemi Sodimu, Yemi solade, Sam Dede, Femi Adebayo Gabriel Afolayan, Tana Adelan and many more.
