FURIES (2024)

If you are searching for something exciting, this weekend then search no further as this series would be worth your while, I absolutely enjoyed it from start to finish, although I am not a great fan of series, after much conviction from friends I decided to give it a shot. Lyna was a pretty young lady, dating a handsome cop who asked her to marry him. One day she gets home only to discover that her father was shot, and her mum hospitalised. In the process of trying to uncover her dads killers, she begins to uncover so many truths. She is forced to join Salma “the Fury” herself to find the guys behind the death of her father. Selma protects the underworld and makes sure all their secrets are kept safe. You have to start this series from the very beginning, watch each episode to the very end, in order to understand the movie, for every single episode, there was always one new revelation, issues or murder, a beautiful action movie, one that will keep you entertained from start to finish. The 8 episodes of 45m each was created by Jean-Yves Arnaud, they featured screen casts like Lina El Arabi, Marina Fois, Mathieu Kassovitz, Jeremy Nadeau, Steve Tientcheu, Sandor Funtek, Quentin Faure, Eye Haidara and many more.

THE BEAUTIFUL GAME (2024)

For the Football lovers out there, this simple drama movie would be worth your, the movie was inspired by real events. Vinny was a young black guy who was very good and talented, along the line he had issues with his team and lost everything resulting to teach young kids how to play football, until he was handpicked to join the homeless world cup team to represent England in Rome, during the annual tournament. Vinny walker was a young black guy who was very talented, but he lacked relationship and interpersonal skills. Vinny was chosen to join the team but just couldn’t work with them, nor play well with them as a united team, he didn’t even want to stay with them in the hotel room, this really disrupted their relationship. The honest truth was that Vinny was carrying loads of baggage’s from his past football career and couldn’t believe he now had to stoop so low to play with losers. Well you will need to watch the entire movie to see how Vinny was able to learn and move on with his life. The 125m sports, Drama, social issues movie was directed by Thea Sharrock, they featured actors like Billy Nighty, Michael Ward, Susan Wokoma, Valeria Golino, Callum Scott Howells, Kit Young, Sheyi Cole, Robin Nazari e.t.c.

MIND CAGE (2023)

There was something quiet confusing about this movie, I didn’t understand the movie till I got to the last 15minutes, it was only at that point was I able to make sense of the movie, so please be patient, pay full attention and wait till the very end the revelation, will leave you bewildered. So Mary Kelly worked closely with her partner Jake Doyle, they were working on a very mysterious case, during that period across the city, they found the bodies of several women, who had being tortured and hung to death, they were always few steps behind the killer and just couldn’t arrest him, in prison was a renowned killer, who tried to provide them with insights on where and what the killer will be up to, they kept wondering how he was so informed, you will need to watch the entire movie to see who was the real master minder behind all the killings. The 97m thriller, mystery movie was directed by Mauro Borrelli, they featured actors like Martin Lawrence, Melissa Roxburgh, John Malkovich, Robert Knepper, Cassandra Gava, Neb Chupin, Jacob Grodnik, Chris Mullinax and many.
