Coscharis Motors is set to showcase locally produced ABRO cello tapes at this year’s West Africa Auto Show (WAAS) 2026, underscoring the increasing role of local manufacturing in Nigeria.
The company said the products are manufactured in Nigeria through its subsidiary, Coscharis AIPL Abro Industries Ltd., as part of efforts to expand local production within the automotive and consumer products segment.
According to a statement signed by Segun Sobogun, communications officer, Coscharis Group, the local production initiative is aimed at improving product availability and supporting the federal government’s local content drive.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Abiona Babarinde, general manager, marketing and corporate communications, Coscharis Group, said the company would also use the event to engage customers on after-sales services and the use of genuine automotive parts.
Babarinde noted that visitors to the exhibition would have access to original equipment manufacturer parts across different vehicle brands, while technicians would provide guidance on maintenance and product selection.
Obuzor Uzordinma, head of auto care and consumer products division at Coscharis Motors, said the exhibition would provide an avenue for the company to present its expanding range of auto care products and explore partnerships within the automotive aftermarket sector.
Uzordinma added that the company would use the platform to educate consumers on the importance of genuine automotive products and after-sales support.
WAAS 2026 is expected to bring together stakeholders across the automotive, spare parts, and auto care value chain in West Africa.
