With more Nigerian consumers increasingly embracing the Internet as the next revolution in gaining access to information and entertainment, Spectranet, leading Internet Service Provider (ISP), is repositioning the brand for new growth.

The company launched a new logo, which is a hallmark of the new spirit of the brand targeted at deepening connections seamlessly and affordably. To mark this, the company has announced a monthly rollover of any unused data when consumers recharge and a minimum of 5GB free data for every new modem purchased.

Speaking at the media launch held in Lagos at the weekend, David Venn, chief executive officer at Spectranet 4G LTE (Long Term Evolution), said the new logo further conveys the unique benefits that Spectranet 4G LTE offers to consumers. This move is critical considering that the internet is playing an integral part in deepening social relationships, gradually becoming an alternative to traditional means of communication.

“In Nigeria, Spectranet’s customers use our services not only to access their emails and browse the Internet, but also to: communicate via Facebook, Twitter and Skype, to watch videos on YouTube, play multi-player games across the world or to watch full feature movies…Families are using broadband service to do this every day and the Internet is fast becoming an essential part of modern family life”, said Venn.

According to him, internet is becoming part of people’s lifestyle. “The individual is now a major player in the happenings around him, powered by Information Communication Technology.

“We understand the needs of our customers very well and have kept on improving services to offer the best internet solution in the country. Spectranet has gone beyond 3G. “Our focus is on providing families and Small/Medium sized businesses with a Fast and Smart link to their world. Smart because it is reliable and great value for money, Fast because it rides on the very latest 4G LTE network.

“In line with this, we have rebranded our company and today we are launching our new logo which is a hallmark of the new spirit, new soul and the new essence of Spectranet,” added the CEO.

The new Spectranet logo conveys a vibrant, warm, bright, yet humble, strong and friendly outlook. It represents the relationships, knowledge, technology and most importantly, humility to connect every one of our customers to their world.

“While the icon suggests dynamic movement and represents a number of different things – relationship, connectivity, family, bridge, speed, go live, etc”, he explained. All the elements work together to create a fresh outlook and together represents our connection to the future.
