AC Milan stunned Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) 2-1 in the Champions League after coming from behind to beat the French champions in Milan on Tuesday night.
Milan Skriniar gave PSG the lead in the 9th minute before Rafael Leao’s 12th-minute goal brought the Italian side back into the game to make it 1-1.
However, Olivier Giroud gave AC Milan the lead in the 50th minute, with Theo Hernandez assisting the ageless point man, who turns 37 on September 30.
The France international has shone as AC Milan’s focal point this season, bagging six goals and tallying three assists in Serie A.
Only Inter Milan marksman Lautaro Martinez has struck more times in the Italian top flight, and the Rossoneri now need their main man to start firing in the Champions League.
He started the Serie A campaign on fire, notching four goals and three assists in Milan’s first seven matches.
His presence helped Milan in the crucial moment of the Champions League, as the Italian side now moves one point behind PSG on six points and two behind group leader Borussia Dortmund, who beat Newcastle 2-0 to move up seven points.
In Manchester, it was Erling Haaland who scored a brace as Man City thrashed Young Boys at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night.
Haaland shrugged off the injury he sustained over the weekend as holders Manchester City reached the Champions League last 16 with a comfortable 3-0 win over 10-man Young Boys.

The Norwegian took his tally for the season to 15 with a penalty and a long-range strike as City eased past the Swiss champions to secure their fourth successive Group G win.
Phil Foden also got on the scoresheet as City, securing their place in the knockout stages for an 11th successive season, overran opponents who failed to muster a single shot and had Sandro Lauper sent off in the second half.
Young Boys’ woes after Lauper received his second booking following a bad challenge on substitute Nathan Ake.
Their only spark in the game came from their lively fans, who, after making a colour-coordinated entrance in black or yellow depending on which tier they were seated, let off fireworks in the second half.
