Cristiano Ronaldo’s girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, has shown her unwavering support for the football star after he broke down in tears during Portugal’s Euro 2024 clash against Slovenia.

The 38-year-old Portuguese icon looked devastated when Slovenian goalkeeper Jan Oblak saved his penalty in the first half of extra time in Frankfurt. However, Portugal’s goalkeeper Diogo Costa made three crucial saves in the shootout, securing a 3-0 victory for Portugal.

Ronaldo, unable to hide his emotions, was seen crying on the pitch after his missed penalty. Georgina Rodriguez, 30, who shares two children with Ronaldo, took to Instagram to support him with a heartfelt post. She shared two photos of Ronaldo on the pitch, one with a large heart and the other with a star, celebrating Portugal’s eventual triumph.

Following the dramatic night, Ronaldo confirmed what many Portuguese fans had feared, telling the country’s newspaper, O Jogo, “It is, without doubt, my last European Championship.”

Georgina, a beloved figure among Portuguese fans, has been a focal point during the Euros. After Portugal’s unexpected 2-0 loss to Georgia, she shared an Instagram story featuring a fan holding a sign that read, “Georgina > Georgia,” and another of two fans with her name printed on their Portugal jerseys.

The Argentine-Spanish influencer and Ronaldo have been together since 2016, meeting at the Gucci store where she worked. Georgina detailed their romance in her Netflix reality series, “I Am Georgina,” released in 2022.
