Manchester United have rescheduled Patrick Dorgu’s medical tests due to pending paperwork, but the €37 million transfer from Lecce remains on track, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 20-year-old Denmark international is now expected to fly to England over the weekend for his medical, with no risk of the deal collapsing.
Dorgu’s current club, Lecce, face a crucial Serie B clash against Parma on Friday, but the left-back is not expected to be involved. This season, he has impressed with three goals and one assist in 23 appearances across all competitions.

Once the move is finalized, Dorgu will become the seventh Serie A player to join Manchester United in the last four years, as the Red Devils continue to invest in talent from Italy’s top flight—spending over €250 million since 2021.
United’s pursuit of Dorgu highlights the rapid rise of the young left-back, who only made his senior debut last season but is already keen to take the next step in his career.
