Cristiano Ronaldo flaunts £1.5m outfit, sits with Anthony Joshua at Fury vs Usyk fight

Ronaldo-Joshua

Al-Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo dazzled in his £1.2 million diamond-encrusted watch and £3,350 Gucci outfit as he sat next to former two-time WBC heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua at the highly anticipated Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk boxing match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo and Joshua were among the VIPs ringside in Riyadh for the bout that saw Usyk crowned the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, a title last held by Lennox Lewis nearly 25 years ago.

Dressed in a cream Gucci outfit, Cristiano Ronaldo made a grand entrance, arriving in his £400k Ferrari. The 39-year-old football star’s stunning Franck Muller watch, adorned with 424 sparkling white diamonds, was a showstopper.

Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently scored for Al-Nassr in a 1-1 draw against Al-Hilal, was seen enjoying the fight alongside Joshua and Turki Alalshikh, president of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority.

Anthony Joshua, dressed in a white top and matching trousers, watched intently, potentially eyeing a future bout with the night’s winner. The two-time world champion shared a conversation with Ronaldo, adding to the star-studded atmosphere.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a regular at major boxing events in Saudi Arabia, has previously been spotted with a £100,000 Jacob and Company limited edition H24 watch, boasting a total diamond weight of 15.25 carats. His presence at ringside often garners attention, as seen during Joshua’s knockout victory over Otto Wallin in December.

The cameras caught a viral moment with Ronaldo looking “terrified” while sitting next to an animated Conor McGregor, who was ranting about Manny Pacquiao to a Saudi boxing official. Fortunately for Ronaldo, McGregor was not expected to attend this fight, as he is currently training for his UFC return against Michael Chandler.

However, Ronaldo might have encountered his former Manchester United teammate, Wayne Rooney. The Red Devils’ all-time top scorer, a boxing fan, has expressed interest in potentially participating in a fight with Misfits Boxing.

The buildup to the fight in Riyadh was filled with tension. Fury refused to look at Usyk during the pre-fight press conference and aggressively squared up to him at the weigh-in.

Usyk’s team filed a complaint about potential trip hazards in the ring, and the headlines were dominated by Fury’s father, John Fury, who headbutted Usyk team member Stanislav Stepchuk earlier in the week.
