The All Progressives Congress (APC) has screened Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and Godswill Akpabio, former minister of Niger Delta Affairs for the party’s presidential ticket race ahead of the primary election slated for Monday-Wednesday next week.
Osinbajo and Akpabio were screened by the John Odigie-Oyegun-led presidential screening committee of the APC at the day two of the exercise, held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
Others billed for screening today include Senate President; Ahmad Lawan; Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi state; Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti state governor; and Oladimeji Bankole, former Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Also slated for the exercise are; Tein Jack-Rich, President/ Founder of Belemaoil and Belema Aid Foundation; Ogbonnaya Onu, former minister of Science, Technology and Innovation; Ben Ayade, Cross River state governor and Ikeobasi Mokelu, former minister of Information.
Another aspirant slated for the screening is Rochas Okorocha, former governor of Imo who was this morning admitted to bail in the sum of N500 million with one surety in like sum by Federal High Court, Abuja and his fate is still unknown.
Okorocha has been in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over allegations of misappropriating N2.9 billion.
