Woodhall Capital partners with Lagos to mark 10 years anniversary

Woodhall Capital secures finance firm licence from CBN

Woodhall Capital, a leading financial advisory firm, has collaborated with the Lagos Corporate Assembly to celebrate its one decade of operations.

This was disclosed in a statement made available by the firm which was sighted by BusinessDay on Thursday.

The financial advisory firm said its success story is incomplete without the timely support it received from the Lagos State government, hence the reason for the partnership.

“The Lagos State government has been instrumental in our expansion efforts, particularly in regions like the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom,” Mojisola Hunponu-wusu, founder Woodhall Capital was quoted to have said at the event.

Hunponu-wusu urged members of the private sector to partner with Lagos to expand their horizons in order to record the rapid growth the firm had attained.

Established in 2014, Woodhall Capital has redefined international funding for emerging markets, and has consistently excelled in bridging the gap between international funders and African economies.

“Over the past ten years, Woodhall Capital has facilitated over $5 billion in international funding, demonstrating its pivotal role in advancing corporate financing across Africa,” the statement read.

“Specialising in structured financial products tailored to client needs, the firm has successfully closed deals for Sovereigns and Sub Sovereigns across Africa,” it added.

The firm said it remained dedicated to its mission of empowering businesses in emerging markets and creating lasting value through strategic financial advisory service.

The event, hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, was well attended by Jumoke Oduwole, special advisor to the President on Ease of Doing Business, Aig Aigboje-Imokhuede, chairman of Access Holdings and other key stakeholders.
