PPC Healthcare, a leading healthcare solutions provider, has urged Nigerians to embrace routine cancer screening to increase the early detection rate, a critical step in combating the disease.

However, many cases go undetected until advanced stages, significantly reducing survival rates.

The company is the primary provider of diagnostic equipment and services at the BT Health and Diagnostics Centre, essentially acting as the technology partner that equips the center with advanced medical imaging and laboratory tools.
Iyere also stated that to promote early detection and effective treatment, the company focuses on expanding access to advanced screening technology, engaging in public awareness campaigns, and partnerships with leading global institutions like MSKCC to train Nigerian medical experts in the latest diagnostic and treatment techniques.
He further called on policymakers and stakeholders to prioritise early screening initiatives by investing in better screening programs, medical infrastructure, and nationwide awareness campaigns.
