UBACLE Group has signed an agreement with Chinese company, Cando Solar for the manufacturing and marketing of the Solar-powered product in Nigeria.
Commenting on the deal, Uba Michael, the CEO of UBACLE described the deal as a milestone for the manufacturing industry in Nigeria. “The deal will open up new doors, create jobs and contribute to the Nigerian economy generally.
“China and Nigeria already has an existing relationship so doing business with the Chinese is not a new thing and we expect to get the best for both countries from this.
“Ubacle Group is committed to working with multinationals in reducing carbon emissions and building a greener future and not just about profit.”
The signing of the deal which was done in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China will be an extension of the bi-lateral relationship that exists between both countries, Micheal added.
He noted that the first phase of the deal will begin with the marketing of Cando Solar in Nigeria, while the building of a manufacturing plant is expected to commence shortly, as every aspect of the deal is perfected.
“However, the marketing of Cando Solar which UBACLE Group has exclusive right to distribute has already began,” he said.
In his remarks, Qiang Huang, CEO of Cando Solar said, “We’re committed to working with UBACLE Group to ensure we work together to set-up a factory in Nigeria and create Jobs. Thereby making life better for everyone who gets involved in the project”
