Bola Tinubu, Nigeria’s president-elect returned to the country today after a working visit to Europe.
He spent about 10 days in Europe and was received at the Abuja airport by Kashim Shettima, vice-president-elect; Ahmad Lawan, the senate president; Godswill Akpabio, a former minister of Niger Delta affairs who is tipped to become senate president, and Abdullahi Ganduje, governor of Kano.
His aides said the president elect is prepared to hit the ground running from the first day and have raised hope that the country will witness a transformative leadership under Tinubu.

Tunde Rahman, Tinubu’s media aide, had said Tinubu would meet with investors and finetune his transition plans while abroad.
