Berkshire Finance Company Ltd, a CBN-licensed and regulated finance firm has partnered with Reohob Nigeria Ltd to finance small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individuals in the acquisition and installation of renewable energy solar solutions.

The Scheme aimed to accelerate and expand financing towards sustainable clean energy solutions, while also powering households and commercial activities nationwide.
“We are excited to have partnered with Reohob on the delivery and launch of this important Scheme,” Ayokunle Ilesanmi, the chief executive of Berkshire stated.
According to him, both firms recognised the need to align with the tenets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the urgency to shift towards financing climate-friendly energy sources.
“Berkshire believes that the solution to the energy challenges is to re-direct capital towards renewable energy sources and are very blessed to be executing this critical action in line with our short to mid-term strategy,” Ilesanmi stated.
Rere Obaisi, CEO, Reohob, stated that Nigerians love the idea of uninterrupted power, especially as a safer solution for erratic power and climate change. “We have collaborated with Berkshire to promote this transition and make it as convenient as possible, no more one-off payment”.

According to him, the scheme will provide flexible financing options to individuals and businesses with sustainability objectives, in line with the parties’ joint mantra. He stated further that the duo is confident that the solution presents a unique cost savings opportunity at a time when many Nigerians are seeking alternatives to the high costs associated with traditional energy solutions.
