Alabi added that, ‘”We understand the importance of education to national development, and also identify the set back caused by examination malpractice and how it has affected the crop of professionals in Nigeria. This is why we have over the years brought together over 2000 students preparing for UME to enlighten them on the need to study to pass their examination without seeking for any help as this will form the foundation for their chosen career”.

Anthonia Taiwo in her keynote address indentified youth development and empowerment as a way to curb the dreaded corruption and examination malpractices that have caused negative influence in the lives of the students and on the educational system in Nigeria. She also highlighted the role of government, parent, society and the students in the fight against the scourge of examination malpractice.

She added that, government policies should be centred on providing adequate education, health and employment system that will strengthen the hope of Nigerian youths to always fight to be above average in their effort for success.

According to her, examination malpractice and corruption is a major factor contributing to unemployment rate, half-baked professionals, bad leadership, and underdeveloped state of the nation as well as inability of graduates to use the acquired skills to do something meaningful, thereby hindering their ability to contribute positively to the growth of the society and the nation at large.

In his own comments, Folarin Olayinka applauded Chrisgate motivational network for the huge investment the company is contributing to education in Nigeria.
