Protesters of #EndBadGovernance protest in Lagos State have expressed their anger over the silence of President Bola Tinubu in addressing the nation as the protest enters day 3.

The protest started August 1 in major cities of the country.

Nigerians in the country had raised their voices to protest as a way of expressing their grievances against the high cost of living, hunger, high levels of unemployment, and limited access to quality education as major concerns amongst others.

Calling on Tinubu, the protesters said the refusal of the president to address the nation at a critical time like this is not helping.

One of the protesters who said she came from Ikorodu to Ojota, venue of the protest, decried the high price of tuition fee while children of the elites enjoy quality education.

The protesters said, “The same energy the president used to remove the subsidy should also be used to reverse it. The same energy he (Tinubu) used to increase tuition fees should be used to reduce it. Let the president address us now. President Tinubu should not only address us but also address our demands.”

They further vow to storm Alausa Ikeja on Monday as the protest continues.
