Leaders of the #ENDSARS protest in Lagos have announced an end to the 72 hours protest based on resolutions which they said will be announced later on Friday night.
“Reiterating again, the official #LagosProtests has ended today being the 3rd day,” Rinu Oduala, a human rights advocate and convener of Operation Sanitise.
The protesters are calling for the disbanding of a rogue police unit known as the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) which in recent times has become notorious for extortion, kidnapping, brutality and murder.
