An indigenous firm, HPN Technology has unveiled latest innovation of Point of Sale, PoS device to deepen financial inclusion and enhance business transactions.
The product was unveiled in Lagos recently at a forum with the theme: ‘Fintech, resilience, innovation and diversification’.

Adeleke Adetula, executive director with HPN Technology told newsmen that the device is a very unique terminal with large memory and good for merchant business. “It has a big screen which allows other forms of application to ride on the terminal”, he said.
Adetula said the device can be used for inventory application and other third party applications. The transaction with it is made seamlessly. “The essence is to deepen financial inclusion with new technology that can allow different functions at the same time”.
According to him, the POS is good for merchants that have shops and kiosks stating that because of the features and its bigger memory a lot of transactions can be stored on the device for a long time and the processor is also fast.

On pricing, he said it is affordable The pricing is competitive. We have looked at foreign exchange that is not stable and however we are offering it at very affordable price. “We have a full-fledged repair centers in Lagos and PH and we have plan to open more in Kano and Abuja to offer repairs”, he said.
