Old naira notes: CBN extends deadline to February 10

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has finally extended the deadline for the exchange of old naira notes by 10 days.

The apex bank noted this in a press statement issued on Sunday January 29.

Godwin Emefiele, the CBN governor, said the new deadline of February 10, 2023 is to allow collection of old notes.
