Bolaji Junaid becomes fellow of NIMN alongside 69 marketing experts

Bolaji Junaid, chief executive officer of Whyfinite, has been inducted as a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) alongside 69 other distinguished professionals.

The induction as fellows is the highest professional honour bestowed on members by the marketing body for their outstanding contributions to marketing practice.

Other inductees include Maureen Ifada, marketing director of the sub-Saharan Africa Cluster at Friesland Campina WAMCO; Mitchell Obi, a renowned journalist and broadcaster of Master Sports International; Folake Soetan, CEO of Ikeja Electric, and Tosin Adefeko, CEO of AT3 Resources.

Speaking at the 2024 edition of the Annual Marketing Conference – Fellows Investiture and Dinner, Idorenyen Enang, president and chairman of the Governing Council of NIMN, underscored the importance of maintaining the highest standards within the marketing profession.

He urged the inductees to contribute actively to the Institute’s growth and to take advantage of opportunities for expanding their knowledge and expertise.

Bolaji Junaid is a seasoned marketing professional and business growth accelerator with over 15 years of experience. He founded Just Passion Concepts in 2009 and grew the company from zero capital to a multi-million naira business within a year.

His career progressed as he joined Insight Publicis in 2014 as an executive trainee, where he worked on high-profile brands including Peak Milk, Amstel Malta, and UBA.

In 2019, Junaid joined Ogilvy, managing relationships for brands such as 5Alive and Golden Penny, and played a pivotal role in the successful re-launch of 5Alive.

Junaid holds degrees from Lagos State University and Lagos Business School, an associate member of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON) who has garnered numerous accolades, including being one of Nigeria’s 35 under 35 Outstanding Marketing Professionals in 2022.

Currently, he is dedicated to building Whyfinite into Africa’s leading marketing technology hub by 2030. He also leads the Bolaji Junaid Mentorship Programme (BJuMP), aimed at mentoring future marketing, entrepreneurship and technology stars.
