Akeredolu promises dualization of Akure/Ado-Ekiti road

Relieve will soon come the way of the people and motorists plying the Akure /Ado road as Ondo State governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, on Thursday disclosed that the road will soon be dualized by the Federal Government.
Already, Akeredolu said the Federal government has finished the design for the road but only awaiting budgetary approval.
The Governor stated this at Itaogbolu, headquarters of Akure North Local Government Area of the state during the continuation of his Thank You Tour.
He explained that his administration has made several efforts at getting the road done before it later settled for the dualisation of the road.
Akeredolu appreciated the people of Akure North for voting for the APC candidate in the last House of Assembly elections. He said he was in the local government to show appreciation to the people.
While appreciating the people, the Governor mentioned that his government has intervened in the area of roads in Akure North especially in Ogbese market, Ogo Oluwa and Eleyowo expressway.
He said: “We have repaired several boreholes in Akure North. In fact, our accelerated water scheme in Ayede Ogbese has gotten the attention of the Federal Government who has come to study what we have done in this state
“I believe you have seen the Schools we have reconstructed. Very soon, we will continue with the reconstruction of more schools in the state.
The Governor was welcome by the people and traditional rulers across the local government.
