Power Oil Teams Up With Lagos Women Assembly Program

A strategic avenue to deepen its engagement with the women of Lagos State, Power Oil- the proudly Nigerian, premium vegetable cooking oil brand, through its Health Camp project has described its participation in the ongoing women assembly program being organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation across all L.C.D.Areas

The Women Assembly program scheduled to cover all Local Council Development Areas In Lagos State was officially kicked off at Surulere Local Government secretariat and presided over by the Honorable Commissioner of Lagos Ministry of Women Affairs & Poverty Alleviation, Honorable Mrs. Cecelia Bolaji Dada who actively condemned the increasing  spate of social vices in the society while encouraging women to speak up about any form of abuse or violence doled out against them and ensure to take care of their mental health & physical wellness.

She said good health is the gateway to everything. To have good health, women must take care of their body, mind and soul. “It is when we have good health that we can run around for business and engage in other activities”.

According to Omotayo Azeez- Abiodun, the Public Relations Manager, Tolaram Group, who was present at the Surulere local government forum said Power Oil is delighted to align with such a laudable forum which is aimed at creating awareness against social abuse/violence against women in the society while supporting both their mental and general wellbeing.

The program happens to share similar values with what the brand stands for – “Healthy Living and general wellbeing”, which is why Power Oil Health camp has committed to be available to provide free basic medical health check to all the women present at every of the Local Council Development Areas In Lagos State all through the program.

According Chief Mrs. Kudirat Savage, Iya Oloja General, Coker Aguda LCDA said it is such a  delight to be present here today while enjoying the opportunity which the Power Oil brand has presented to us, we hope the genuine interest in women as demonstrated today is sustained.

While delivering the vote of thanks, the Honorable Commissioner however, thanked the manufacturer of the Power Oil Brand for their presence and commitment towards support the women of Lagos State throughout the course of the program which is scheduled to conclude by the end of August.
