In compliance with new Lagos State traffic law, Red Star Express; a leading logistics company in Nigeria has acquired brand new 220CC engine capacity motorcycles for distribution of its mails and customers parcels. The acquisition of the motorcycles is the first phase of the project as order has been placed for more 220CC engine capacity motorcycles.

Ngozi Ochokwu, marketing and corporate Manager, Red Star Express plc said, “We operate in an environment where adherence to the rule of law is extremely vital. We believe in best practice and we make every effort to comply with government laws without compromising the quality of the service we offer to our customers. It is part of corporate responsibility to support government policies as a corporate citizen of any location we operate.”

The Lagos Traffic Law 2012 prohibits operations of motorcycles otherwise called Okada on 475 major roads in the state.
