Reddington Hospital unveils team of specialists to enhance service delivery

Reddington Hospital, Lagos, a private hospital with international quality accreditation, said it has made some key appointments across medical specialities in line with its effort to expand the practice of medicine and boost service delivery.

The specialists include Abiodun Osibamowo, a United States of America-trained Consultant in Internal Medicine who will serve as medical director; Taoreed Azeez, who will serve as clinical director in Reddington Hospital, Victoria Island while Olusesan Adebayo, an ex-Chevron Consultant General Physician, will serve as clinical director in Reddington Hospital, Lekki.

Others include Faith Ekpekurede, who will take over as group director of emergency medicine and Joy Oshun will serve as the non-invasive cardiology lead.

Olutunde Lalude, the group medical director of Reddington Hospital, said the appointments signify the hospital’s vision of attracting the best Nigerian medical personnel abroad in service to Nigerians.

Lalude said the appointments were further evidence of the hospital’s continued commitment to arresting outward medical tourism, reversing the brain drain and improving standards of care.

“These goals are accompanied by a determination to make top quality healthcare affordable and creating employment opportunities to bring significant socio-economic value to Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole,” Lalude said.

The Reddington Hospital was awarded International Quality Accreditation in 2013 and has been reaccredited on three occasions since then. It has remained internationally accredited to this day.

The hospital has also earned a reputation for being in the vanguard of medical breakthroughs and pioneering firsts in healthcare in Nigeria.
