Tayo Okoya’s WBF Shines at SOLE DXB 2023

It has been a story of onward and upward for one of the leading African fashion labels, World Black Fantasy better known as WBF, a Dubai-based company owned by a Nigerian creative talent, Tayo Okoya.

As part of exciting events wrapping up a successful year for WBF, the luxury fashion brand took the fashion game to another level at recently concluded SOLE DXB 2023 tagged the ultimate celebration of youth and contemporary culture which was held at the prestigious Dubai Design District.

WBF turned heads at the SneakerWear fest rated as the biggest in the Middle East.

WBF’s impressive outing at SOLE DXB 2023 has put the brand in the global spotlight. The electrifying popped up event drew thousands of attendees from across the world including hip-hop legends, top brands, fashion showcases, DJ sets and exhibitions featuring leading African fashion labels.

After years of serving exotic goods exhibiting pop art/culture globally. And carving an enviable niche as one of the best African fashion labels of international repute, WBF once again showcased why the brand is in a class of its own when to comes to unmatched streetwear designs.

Known as one of the favourites of Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke aka Davido and other celebrities. WBF commanded attention of Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu aka Odumodublvck and Nasty C who both rocked the brand at SOLE DXB 2023. Also jumping on the WBF trend is Ryan Taylor, DJ Cuppy’s ex-boyfriend. It was a memorable outing for the most-loved brand, WBF led by its creative founder, Tayo Okoya.

It was a global statement reaffirming the rankings of WBF as one of the best urban streetwear brand. Under the leadership of Okoya, WBF has grown in leaps and bounds thanks to creativity and consistency. Okoya’s passion for excellence has rubbed positively on his brand.

To say that he is on top of his game is simply stating the obvious. Not resting on its laurels, WBF has teamed up with Mozzi Culture Limited, a fashion business management company who is currently providing professional business management services to WBF on it’s most recent project which has conspicuously a created abuzz in the international fashion sphere.

The annual SOLE DXB 2023 which held from December 8th to 10th was in commemoration of fifty years of hip hop. According to statistics available, last year’s edition attracted over 33, 000 attendees from over 85 countries and featured over 80 performers and brands. The 2023 edition was another huge success.
