Join us Saturday April 21st for the Lagos Blockchain Hackathon in collaboration with the Government of Canada. We invite all entrepreneurs, innovators, developers, and community members to come learn about the cutting edge technology, Blockchain, and develop solutions. Participants will gain educational knowledge on how to start working with Blockchain and have assistance in building prototypes.
The aim is to build solutions that can be piloted with the Government of Canada’s initiative to trial Blockchain solutions.
The event is being organized by Seso Globlal with the Candian High Commission of Nigeria, Consensys, UPort, PlotPeer, Gidi VC and Business Day.
Who Should Attend: The Hackathon is open to all innovators, entrepreneurs, and knowledge seekers. Developers, business managers, students, analysts and beyond are welcomed to come learn about this innovative technology and build a solution. We will have industry experts available to assit in the solutions and teach concepts.
Topics/ Use Cases: Projects will be built on concepts that can be utillized by Government and development sectors. The focus will be on though not limited to: Agriculture, financial inclusion, Govtech, medtech and investment solutions.
Cash Prizes: The top solution will receive 700,000 Naira, 2nd place 350,000 Naira and 3rd place 100,000 Naira. Everyone attending wins in the gain of new knowledge.
