Nigerian artist Musbaudeen Soheeb Adewale, popularly known as Hush Lambert, has officially launched his new album Boomerang. The album was introduced at a vibrant listening party held in Lagos, where fans, collaborators, and stakeholders in the music industry gathered to celebrate this significant milestone in his career.
Speaking about the album, Hush Lambert shared, “Boomerang is about energy. The energy you give is the energy you receive. That’s the message I want to send through this album. I’ve put in a lot of effort, and I believe the streets will reflect that back.”
Hush Lambert revealed that the album’s title reflects his belief in reciprocity. “It’s like karma,” he explained. “You get what you give.” The project comprises 10 tracks, featuring collaborations with several talented artists, including Billar Stoner, Patamous, Kaskid Alaji, Rudy, Kazuli, Bizzy, Raibina, and Miza.
Reflecting on his journey, Hush Lambert acknowledged the progress of the Nigerian music industry over the years. “The industry has grown significantly. It’s evolving fast, and I’m working hard to reach the level I aspire to,” he said. He credited Berry Tiga as a key influence in his career, describing him as a mentor who has provided guidance on navigating the music scene.
Ashiru Kehinde, also known as Afolabi Dosh, Hush Lambert’s manager, highlighted the artist’s dedication to music. “Before he even started his music career, Hush Lambert had a passion for music. He’s always been energetic about it, and I’ve never regretted working with him,” said Kehinde.
Idebe Samson, the producer of Boomerang, praised Hush Lambert’s adaptability and willingness to experiment with new sounds. “He’s open to trying new ideas, and that’s what makes him stand out. This album features diverse sounds, including a Fuji interlude, showcasing different sides of music,” he stated.
The album is set to be available on all major streaming platforms. Attendees at the listening party expressed high expectations for the project. Samson added, “Boomerang is more than just music. Each track carries a message and aims to make an impact.”
Hush Lambert also spoke about the role of the Nigerian government in fostering growth in the music industry. “The government is pushing the industry forward, and I’m thankful for the support,” he said, expressing optimism for the future.
As the listening party progressed , Hush Lambert assured fans that this was just the beginning. “Tonight is all about celebration and sharing the energy of this album. I’m excited for everyone to experience it,” he said.
