Firm unveils new lines of beauty brand in Nigeria

Mayore Beauty, a newly-launched minimal and multi-purpose cosmetic brand has officially commenced operations in Nigeria to promote women of colour, Africans and ebony ladies in the beauty industry.

“It is a brand collection for the natural beauty of women, showing them their value by providing quality products at an affordable price. Our goal is to expand the options of shades for all ebony skinned women, having autonomy to decide what makes us beautiful and what deserves to be reelected on our skin,” Silver Oghayore, make-up artist and founder, Mayore Beauty said in a recent media parley.

According to Oghayore, the brand was created with the aim of becoming the largest makeup line created with women of colour, Africans and ebony ladies in mind.

“The brand Mayore, intended to value and show appreciation for women’s beauty, it’s created for generality with a focus on a wide variety of usually difficult-to-match skin tones, formulas that work for all skin types, and universal shades,” Oghayore said.

According to him, the Nigerian beauty industry is accelerating with brands that are indegenous to women of colours and Africans. “We pride ourselves in the fact that every tone and shade the African, ebony and colored woman represents, is covered by Mayore,” Oghayore said.

Speaking further, he disclosed that Mayore had been a household name in Brazil and a lot of marketing strategies were in line to penetrate the Nigerian market to serve Nigerians the best beauty products.

“Mayore has been in existence for about three years in Brazil where we have made the brand and household product and we introducing it into the Nigerian market.

“It means so much to me now to be able to bring Moyore Beauty to Nigeria, whilst we continue to live again to penetrate the market. We are very convinced that people will come to us once they have seen the value we bring to the market,” he said.

According to Oghayore, Mayore Beauty brand will be giving back to the society as a way of CSR with the commencement of a free training for young makeup artistes by equipping them with business structure ideas.

He disclosed further that the entire Moyore Beauty collection will be available exclusively at different stores in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.

“We have both wholesale and retail distributors on the island market and trade fair. We have plans to engage with make-up artist entrepreneurs, and we have over 1000 students who are brand ambassadors,” Oghayore disclosed.
