Ernieola Eniola Olusoga, exceptional gospel artiste, has established herself as a gifted musician with a passion for crafting Afrocentric gospel melodies that resonate with the vibrant tapestry of the gospel.
Surprisingly, her background in civil engineering has become an unexpected asset, as she now meticulously constructs songs, with each note serving as a brick in the edifice of her faith.

Reflecting on how her musical journey began, Ernieola expressed, “God inspired me. I am not even trying to sound overly Christocentric. But being a civil engineer and dropping that to do ministry had to be God. My musical journey started in the year 2010. I knew I was going to be a musician, but I wasn’t seeing gospel music at the time or even being a full-time musician. But here we are. It’s been an interesting and amazing journey so far.”
The anointed minstrel is set to host the 8th edition of her annual flagship event, Word Worship Warfare (WWW), at Solution Arena, Onipanu, Lagos, on January 28, 2024.

Sharing the inspiration behind WWW, Ernieola shared, “It’s solely the Holy Ghost. There’s no way in the world I would have ever thought of WWW; it was 100 percent God’s idea.” This year’s edition, themed ‘The Prayer Festival,’ aims to empower attendees to remain consistent in their prayer lives. Ernieola, the visionary behind the event, expressed enthusiasm, stating, “People will become more purposeful and intentional in the year 2024. It will help the attendees become all that God has called them to be even as we travail. There will be massive healing testimonies.”
Known for her goal-oriented approach, Ernieola emphasized, “It’s been God helping my ability to focus and stay determined. I am a very intentional person; I know what I want. So until I get it, we will be there. Musically I am very big on excellence, and being a music graduate (a certified musicologist), the knowledge makes me not joke with my creative meetings and rehearsals.”
Acknowledging the challenges she has faced, particularly as a woman in the music industry and concerning financial stability, Ernieola remains undeterred. She highlighted, “Music is expensive, and people hardly sponsor kingdom music. So it was difficult when I started out. But then again, God opened my eyes and heart to see strategies and partnerships that helped put some measures in place to aid the financial aspect of my entire career.”
Reflecting on memorable moments in her career, Ernieola recalled holding her first concert in 2014 and ministering in front of millions, stating, “Those experiences were reaffirmations that I was made for the Kingdom, and I have to be here till Jesus calls me home. I am very particular about showcasing my Nigerian and African roots in my songs. For me, the message is ‘The Gospel’ (Everything Good news). Every song of mine focuses on the standpoint of the finished works of Jesus Christ.”
