Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori a.k.a Kiekie, popular content creator has shared the tips and tools she applies that aided her success in content creation.

Kiekie spoke during a training put together by Savvy Media Africa to empower young Nigerians in the content creation sector.

Kiekie said: “Every opportunity I have to impart knowledge , I will always take it. I said when I was speaking that people who are not doing right by morals are so loud, so those of us who can cause the actual change are keeping quiet.

“If you are not standing up against what is wrong, then what is wrong will continue to prevail. Every opportunity I see to empower younger ones looking up to me, I take up such opportunities to speak to them”.

In the same vein, Tofunmi Akinseye, Savvy Media Africa CEO, said: ”We checked our demographics and saw that they are between 25 and 34 it’s an opportunity for us to step in and look for potential within that age group.

“What piqued my interest in the creative sector is that I have realized it’s the next big thing seeing the pool of talents in that industry and the fact that the industry is beginning to contribute to even our GDP shows there is great potential in there.

“We discovered that young people are interested in this space but don’t know how to crack it. And the best for us is to think of people who have cracked that space and utilizing it positively. We partner with them and have them teach these aspiring content creators on how to be valuable and how to make money within that space”.
